At the New Scientist Live

Thursday, October, 10, 2019

Did you know that my books are all based on real science, academic aricles and UN forecasts?

So, it will come as no surprise that I often go to conferences about the future and try to gather as much information and inspiration as I can about the trends in scientific thinking.

This week, I attended the New Scientists Live conference in London and it was fantastic!

From space probes to the agriculture of the future, via lectures about dark matter and diets, the New Scientist Live was just a fascinating hodge podge of fun facts, interesting lecturers and cool displays.

I got to try virtual reality 3D goggles for the first time, I spoke to a UN official who is married to a Masai and learned how to put on a space suit. Awesomeness!
